The Imere Presbyterian congregation has long pooled its resources to look after its own — a school fee here, a roof repair there, food for a family after a storm. As that generosity grew, so did the need for proper books. The finance committee was formed to give the work structure: named officers, minuted decisions, one account for one purpose.
Today IMERE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH FINANCE COMMITTEE (INC.) is an officially registered entity in Vanuatu under registration number 501631, operating from Stage 2, 11 Bladiniere, Port Vila, Vanuatu. We handle receipting, budgeting, project approval and reporting for every charitable activity carried out in the church’s name.
Four founding principles still guide us: integrity in handling money, spiritual stewardship of what has been entrusted to us, financial transparency towards donors and members, and steady service to the community around us.
