1. Who we are

IMERE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH FINANCE COMMITTEE (INC.) (“we”, “us”, the committee) is a non-profit organisation registered in Vanuatu under Registration / Charitable Entity ID 501631, with its registered office at Stage 2, 11 Bladiniere, Port Vila, Vanuatu. We are the data controller for information submitted through this website and to info@imerepresbyterian.cloud.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact and volunteer enquiries: the name, email address, phone number, subject, preferred volunteer role and message you choose to submit.
  • Donor correspondence: details you share when arranging a gift, requesting a receipt or asking for an allocation summary.
  • Technical information: basic, aggregated data such as pages visited and approximate region, used only to keep the site working and secure.

We do not collect card or bank details on this website. Donations are processed on PayPal’s own secure platform under PayPal’s privacy terms; we receive only the transaction confirmation needed to record and receipt your gift.

3. How we use your information

  • To answer your enquiry and follow up on volunteer or partnership interest.
  • To record, receipt and report on donations as our governance rules require.
  • To coordinate program participation, welfare support and grant administration.
  • To meet the record-keeping obligations of a registered non-profit in Vanuatu.

We never sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not send marketing messages to people who have not asked to hear from us.

4. Confidentiality of welfare information

Information shared with us in the course of welfare, relief or grant assistance is treated as strictly confidential. It is accessible only to the committee members and coordinators responsible for that case, and it is never used in public reporting in a way that could identify a household without written consent.

5. Data security

Enquiries sent to info@imerepresbyterian.cloud are held in our official domain-based mail system with access limited to authorised committee members. Paper records are kept in locked storage at our registered office. Digital files are password protected and backed up. Should a breach occur that affects you, we will notify you and take corrective action promptly.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the minimal cookies and local storage required for the site to function correctly and securely. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking profiles. Where aggregated analytics are used, they help us understand which pages are useful — not to identify individuals. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will continue to work.

7. Third parties

We share personal information only where it is necessary: with PayPal to process a donation you initiate, with our auditors and regulators where required by law, or with a school or supplier when paying a grant on a student’s behalf with the family’s agreement. Embedded map content is served by OpenStreetMap.

8. Retention

Financial and donation records are retained for the period required under Vanuatu non-profit and accounting rules. General enquiries are kept only as long as needed to resolve them and to maintain a reasonable record of correspondence.

9. Your rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, ask us to delete information we are not required to keep, or withdraw consent for future contact. Write to info@imerepresbyterian.cloud, call +678 730 1274, or visit us at Stage 2, 11 Bladiniere, Port Vila, Vanuatu. We respond within a reasonable period, normally within thirty days.

10. Children

Where a program involves minors, applications and consents are handled through a parent or legal guardian, and information about a child is used solely to administer that support.

11. Changes and contact

Updates to this policy are published on this page with a revised date. For any privacy question, contact the committee at info@imerepresbyterian.cloud or +678 730 1274. See also our Terms of Service and Non-Profit Verification & Domain Ownership Disclosure.
