These terms govern the use of imerepresbyterian.cloud and describe the standards we hold ourselves to as a registered non-profit in Vanuatu.

1. About these terms
This website is owned and operated by IMERE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH FINANCE COMMITTEE (INC.), a non-profit organisation registered in Vanuatu under Registration / Charitable Entity ID 501631, with its registered office at Stage 2, 11 Bladiniere, Port Vila, Vanuatu. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Purpose of this website
The site exists to describe our programs, publish our governance and verification details, receive enquiries and volunteer applications, and enable donations. Content is provided for information only and does not constitute financial, legal or professional advice.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false, misleading or unlawful information through our forms.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or our mail systems.
- Do not use our name, seal or registration number to solicit funds or represent the committee without written authorisation.
- Do not use the site to distribute spam, malware or harassing content.
4. Donations
- Donations are voluntary and are processed by PayPal on its own secure platform, subject to PayPal’s terms.
- Unless you designate a specific program, gifts are applied at the committee’s discretion to the areas of greatest need, in line with the allocation published on our Donate page.
- Designated gifts are used for the designated purpose. If a project is completed or becomes impractical, we will contact you before redirecting the funds.
- Donations are generally non-refundable once processed. If a gift was made in error, contact info@imerepresbyterian.cloud promptly and we will review it in good faith.
- Receipts are issued on request for every gift.
5. Donor rights
- To be informed of our registered identity, purpose and governance structure.
- To know how gifts are allocated and to request an allocation summary.
- To have personal details kept confidential and handled per our Privacy Policy.
- To ask questions and receive a prompt, honest answer from a committee member.
- To decline further contact at any time.
6. Volunteers
Submitting a volunteer application does not create an employment relationship or guarantee a placement. Volunteers are inducted, must respect our confidentiality and safeguarding requirements, and serve under the direction of a committee-appointed coordinator.
7. Governance standards
The committee operates by recorded resolution, maintains receipts and ledgers for all income and expenditure, reconciles accounts regularly, prepares annual accounts for review, and complies with the reporting obligations applicable to registered non-profit entities in Vanuatu. Conflicts of interest must be declared and recorded.
8. Intellectual property
Our name, official seal, text and photographs on this site belong to IMERE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH FINANCE COMMITTEE (INC.) or are used with permission. You may quote or link to our content with attribution; you may not reproduce our seal or represent yourself as acting for the committee.
9. Third-party links
Links to external services such as PayPal and embedded map providers are offered for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
10. Availability and liability
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every detail is free of error. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for loss arising from use of the site is limited.
